"I am both Muslim and Christian";

"I am both Muslim and Christian, just like I'm both an American of African descent and a woman. I'm 100 percent both."

Anne Holmes Redding, who until recently was director of faith formation at St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral, has been a priest for more than 20 years. Now she's ready to tell people that, for the last 15 months, she's also been a Muslim — drawn to the faith after an introduction to Islamic prayers left her profoundly moved; according to the Seattle Times religion reporter Janet I. Tu.

Had I the opportunity of stopping by this priest's church and listened to one of her sermons, even long before she came up with this announcement, stood up in the middle of the church, and called her "a half-brain idiot woman", I would probably have ended up in jail, and possibly hit with a law suit for defaming her character.

But now, I can go to her church, stand up on a chair, and tell her in front of everybody, that she is a certified half-brain, without fearing any sort of lawsuit and without any guilt on my mind!  Oh…

I also can call her "filth, shame, a toy, a thing", and much more, without a blink of an eye, because, by announcing her acceptance of Islam, this woman has just accepted everything Islam says about her!

Muhammad said, “Isn’t the witness of a woman equal to half of that of a man?” We said ‘yes”.  He said, “This is because of the deficiency of a woman’s mind.”!! (Hadith, Sahih Bukhari 3.826)

Muhammad was referring to Allah's "revelation" that said: “.. and call in to witness from among your men two witnesses; but if there are not two men, then one man and two women from among those whom you choose to be witnesses, so that if one of the two errs, the second of the two may remind the other..” (Quran 2:282)

Anne Holmes Redding claims that she was drawn to the faith of Islam after an introduction to Islamic prayers that left her profoundly moved?!

I don't know what Islamic prayer has touched Anne's heart, but there is one thing I know for sure, that Anne Holmes, by announcing her acceptance of Islam, has given up half of her mind (at least), therefore she became unable to pursue her search; otherwise, she could have used the other half to learn more about Islam and about some real Islamic prayers that reflect the real teachings of Islam. For example the one that begs Allah to make her a widow, loose her children and her possessions, simply because she wasn't Muslim:

"O Allah, make their children orphans and their women widows; O Allah, make their possessions booty for the Muslims…"

"O Allah! Curse the Kuffar of the people of the book, those that disbelieve in Your Messengers, and fight your beloved ones. O Allah! Divide their word, shake the earth from under their feet, and rain upon them your wrath. In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful…"

She could also have found out about Allah's order to kill her or force her to pay a punishing tax if she doesn't accept Islam:

"Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Messenger have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, - that is the Christians and the Jews - until they pay the punishing tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of submission." (Quran 9:29)

Having been raised in an Islamic country, I have heard these prayers hundreds of times from mosques during Fridays' prayers. They did not touch my heart but rather terrified it and made me constantly live in fear of these barbarian Muslims who want to deprive me from my mother, father and our possessions!

Anne Holmes Redding: I wouldn't morally dare call a Muslim woman "a person with a deficient brain" as Muhammad called her, because she had no choice since she was born into the faith nor can she abandon it, as she will jeopardize her life. But, I can call you as such, for you have chosen this derision with your own free will and accord.
